You are about to embark on a journey that just might change how you approach teaching and learning - forever. That's the hope, anyway. You will be exposed to videos, articles, books, and MANY web 2.0 tools, each of which has the potential of reshaping teaching and learning.
As with any class, you get out of it what you put into it. There will certainly be days when you will want to go home and not look at your computer the rest of the night. But, that won't happen. You will have assignments that will have you creating accounts, installing software, and reading and discussing. But, if the past is any indication, you will enjoy every minute of it. "If you want to be happy, learn something." And I think you'll find this to be true in this course.
I'm anxious to meet each of you and to get started learning with you. You'll be writing blog posts in here, as well.
